This article is your ultimate resource for insights into Venue Settings on Dines.

VENUE

VENUE is your hub for customising various settings related to your venue. Here, you can modify the information that appears on your Mobile Ordering page, manage your Opening Hours, and configure Payout Settings to ensure you receive your total sales revenue from Dines.

 


Venue Details;

As you may have guessed, this is where you can edit the details of your venue. Please note that these will appear publicly on your Mobile Ordering page so that your customers know how to find and contact you. 


Booking;

Here, you can choose to activate Bookings for your venue. To get started, simply toggle the Bookings feature on or off using the button on the right-hand side. Beneath that, you can define specific dates and times when you're open to accepting reservations. Once you've configured your preferences, a "Book" button will appear on your online menu. 


Opening Hours;

This setting lets you define your venue's operating hours, relating directly to Collections, which you can learn more about here. Just select the day of the week using the drop-down menu, and specify your opening and closing times with the "From" and "Until" options below.


Marketing; 

In this section, you have a few options to use Dines for your venue’s marketing. If you have a marketing list that you use to capture email addresses, you can pop the link in the Email: Orders Marketing Button URL field, with text to accompany it in the Email: Orders Marketing Button Text field. To download all the email addresses you have collected in a CSV file, click the Download Emails button. 

With Marketing Messages, you can add your own promotion to the top of your menu. Each promotion can be accompanied by a message and image to make it really stand out. Check out the example below and feel free to get creative! 



Gallery;

Using the Gallery option allows you to display a banner at the top of your menu to add a bit of branding for your venue. Upload as many images as you like to showcase your brand identity, and they will seamlessly alternate as your customers explore your menu. 

Please be aware that the maximum file size is 500kb. For optimal performance, we recommend using the JPG image format as it typically has smaller file sizes compared to PNG or other formats.



Cuisine Tags;

You can use Cuisine Tags to add up to six labels to your menu, helping your customers easily recognise the type of food and drinks your venue serves. There are over 50 unique tags available to highlight your venue’s specialities. 


Payout Settings;

Payout Settings are essential for receiving payment from Dines. To get started, simply enter your business bank details in the Bank Account Setup field. Additionally, you'll need to complete Stripe Onboarding by clicking the "Complete Stripe Verification" button.

To understand when you can expect to receive funds, please consult Stripe's payout schedule provided below for clarification.


Share Your Menu;

In this section, you have two options for sharing your online menu. You can either generate a downloadable QR code for the menu or share a direct link. 


Dines Shop;

Lastly, you can click here to access the Dines Shop, which will be your go-to destination for acquiring printers, card readers, and other tools to integrate with Dines.
