Changing your bank account on Dines is a simple process, though there are a few key steps you will need to follow. In this article, we will walk you through everything required, so that the bank account change is as smooth as possible.

Requesting the Bank Account Change
The first step is, of course, to submit your request for updating your bank account on Dines. This can be achieved by logging into your Dines account, and navigating to Settings/Admin > Venue > Payout Details > Edit Bank Account.
When you click “Edit Bank Account,” a new email draft will automatically open within your email client. This new email will be pre-addressed to our Customer Care Inbox (care@dines.co.uk). Before you send the email, please read it through, as you will need to fill in the following details;
- New Bank Account Number
- New Bank Account Sort Code
- New Bank Account Name
- Phone Number
Important: The email requesting a bank account change must be sent from the email address associated with your Dines account (the same email address with which you use to log in). This helps to verify your identity and ensures the security of your request.
If we receive an email from an address not linked to your Dines account, we will go through a very vigorous security process which may delay the request.
Once you have entered the required information mentioned above, please send the email and the Dines crew will pick it up promptly. We will send a quick confirmation once we have received your request.
Next Steps
Following your request to change your bank account on Dines, we’ll call you on the phone number attached to your account, to perform a quick security check. This is an important step to confirm that it is indeed yourself who made the request.
During the call, we may ask you to verify your identity by providing some details about your account, such as your Dines PIN Number, the postcode associated with your account, et cetera. The call shouldn’t take more than a few minutes of your time.
Note: If you have missed a security check call from us, do not return the call. For your security and ours, all security check calls are made outbound due to the risk of number spoofing. Instead, please respond to our email with a better date and time for us to reach you.
Once the call is complete, we are ready to update your bank account! We will pass the request over to our finance team, who will normally update the account within 24-48 hours. Upon completing the request, we will notify you by email.
